As an aspiring person in the journey of growth and desire for fame, I dream of becoming an actor, model and a singer. The challenges on my way help me improve, I learn something new every day and continue becoming better. I am Alina Deikun, a high school student with big dreams and a passion for making a worldwide impact. I play a trumpet in my high school band “Pride of the Gold Coast” and our school was the only school chosen from Florida to be a part of Washington DC 250th birthday of America parade. We even got a shoutout in news, where I presented an interview about our trip. I also play violin and learn piano while singing. I believe that personal practice with discipline can lead to great results, for instance a year ago I didn’t know how to sing, but with constant practice from internet videos and personal practice, I improved and even performed the national anthem in front of my whole high school during pep-rally. This really inspired me to become someone known. As I liked to appear in front of people I joined the dance team and got interviewed by my school news where I told about this team with and great experience. I went to Barbizon school to truly learn how modeling and acting works; after 6 months of training I went to a competition in Atlanta, Georgia, where I tried my best with monologue performance and modeling walk. I was confident because I had experience performing for big crowds, such as in Boca Raton Holiday Street Parade with my Boca Middle School as a cheerleader and later with my Boca High School as a marching band player. I also have performed in talent shows at my school with violin play and a dance. In addition to my artistic side, I do athletics; I swim, play basketball, and do track and field. In academics: robotics, scientific research and tracking global trends. I speak Russian as my native language and English, therefore at the beginning I wasn’t sure if research papers I wrote were good, however as I continued to learn I become better.
